How do I make a long-term booking?

At this time we don’t support long term bookings. This is a feature we will be adding in an upcoming release.

How do I park a large vehicle?

Vehicle size supported is designated in the parking spot description.

Are my credit card details secure?

All payments made through ParXit are processed by our payment agent, Stripe. This means your details are securely encrypted.

How do I reserve a parking spot?

Once you find the spot you want, simply reserve it through the app, and you’ll be good to go until you check out.

What happens if my vehicle is damaged while parking?

Parking in a private driveway or structure is usually much safer than parking your car on the street.

Any damage done to your car while parked should be covered by most personal vehicle insurance policies as standard.

How do I leave a review?

At the end of every parking stay, you will be asked to rate your spot. Please let us know how it was. If you have additional information to share, please send it to info@parxit.com.

What if there is another car in the space when I arrive?

Email us immediately at support@parxit.com

I was unable to park, how do I get a refund?

Email us at info@parxit.com, and let us know what problem you had. Our team will take care of it.

How do I list my space?

We’ve made that easy… Download the app from the iTunes store or Google Play store, launch the app, and click “list your spot”.

How can I be a great space owner?

Create a detailed listing, incl. any special instructions), Make sure your space is free of obstruction, and put your parking spot to work for you as often as you can!!!

 

How much does it cost me to list my space?

ParXit splits the proceeds with you 85% for you and just a measly 15% for us. If you’d like to give us more we’re happy to take it.

Does my space need to be available all the time?

Nope, only when you want to earn a little extra dough.

Can I have different prices on different days?

Yes you can change the price as often as you want but we suggest you stay reasonable in order to drive more traffic to your spot.

Can I rent out my space if it requires a permit, fob or key?

At this time we’re not supporting that.

Do I need to be at home when the driver arrives?

Nope, that’s what we’re here for. No more standing in the front yard with a sign.

What happens if the driver overstays?

If a driver overstays past his or her checkout, please email us immediately at info@parxit.com, and we will take care of it.

What if the driver doesn’t show up?

The driver is paying for the reservation from the time they reserve the spot until the time they checkout. If they don’t show up, they are paying the rent anyway.

Are my bank details secure?

Yes they are. We use Stripe for all credit card and bank information storage. They are certified PCI level 1 (the most stringent level of certification).

What if my space cannot accommodate large vehicles?

Make sure you note the size of the vehicle your space can accommodate when you list your spot in the ParXit App.
